You know what I find is just terrible?

Judging people for something they had no control of. You know, nobody is perfect. Everyone has something they are ashamed of, things we keep secret. So imagine how someone feels when that part accidentally comes out.  You should always accept your friends.  That is, if you're a good person, and you still want to remain friends.

I think it's important to accept your friends, even in difficult times. I can't imagine how things would have turned out if my friends hadn't been so accepting of me, and I'm sure that I'd do absolutely anything for them. If they were having difficulties, even if they were ashamed of their problems, I'd want to help them.

That doesn't annoy me quite as much a somebody's secret is something that they should just stop being a whiny little grubface about. Gotta say I agree with you there. I have a friend who made a terrible mistake, and the consequences of that pretty much ruined everything for me for a while. Still, we worked together to fix everything. Sometimes you just have to forgive and forget, even if it's really hard to do that.
