her_mouse_jesty / 11 (The Cactus Kid)

[So, Minnie is still in/just getting out of Ilex forest. But on the way, she's picked up a few things... Mickey, her Azumarril, is playing with the Pokegear, which, of course, turns on. Now you get to see Minnie doing some... strange things.

She seems to have gotten a hold of some vines, sticks, and leaves. She ties the vine around her hips, then ties to to a leaf, so that the leaf flops on her rear. She appears to give this some thought, then shakes her head, taking off the leaf, and replacing it with a stick. Again, stops to think... no, simply won't do. Unties the stick, then the vines... then reties the vines, around the hips, and now lets a long string of it hang behind her. Hips give a wiggle... nope, still doesn't satisfy her. She takes off the vines, and sits, with a little sigh.]

It won't do, it won't do at all... Nothing can really replace my tail. You don't know what you'll miss until it's gone.

[Then she looks up, seeing the Pokegear on. Oh well, may as well address the audience.]

Hm... For anyone else out there who weren't humans before coming here, what's the most you miss about being... whatever you were? I'm supposed to be a mouse, and this body is nice and everything... but, sometimes, oh, I so dreadfully miss my tail!

A... mouse? [well she definitely acts Maximal enough, and they do love their mammals.] You don't say. I don't suppose you would be willing to tell me more? I haven't heard anything about anyone here... not being human.

Oh, but it's happened to quite a few of my friends! For some reason, when something that isn't human is brought here, they turn into a human. Not that I remember turning into one... One second I'm myself, and the next I was like this.

How interesting...! [feel free to get creeper vibes, what he's saying aside, he's not making much of an attempt to... not sound how he normally sounds.] Hahahaha, what a peculiar phenomenon. And this happens to every non-human?

[oh minnie why can't you realize creepers ahead of time. good man, you're just inquisitive!]

Well, every non-human I've talked to, anyway. Like my friend Donald... he's supposed to be a duck, but he's human too. We were both a lot shorter, too.

[why yes indeed, that must be it.]

I see! That really is quite interesting. And there aren't any non-humans that have stayed this way that you know of?

Everyone has stayed a human, and only a human, sir. Ordinary humans, in fact... any special abilities we had are also gone.

... What a pity.

I do miss it.

That's quite a long time, isn't it?

It is... but I've managed. We'll all return home eventually.

You really think that?

Yes. One day, we will return home, and everything will be resolved.

Heh heh heh... How naive.

Other people have vanished from here and gone home. That means there is a way to go back. We just need to find and understand how that's happening, along with how we got here in the first place.
