[Mickey and Minnie were juuust on their way to Ecruteak when this bug nonsense began. Which would have been fine, they've got an awesome team, butt can be kicked. Except Tarantulas just had to announce himself.

Due to certain events last year, Minnie did not take this well.

So when the Pokegear is suddenly turned on, Minnie has in fact run away from her husband, and is shaking under a large tree, clutching herself, and crying. Fortunately, her Pokemon are out and about protecting her from the bug menaces, as you'll see sometimes an Onix, Pidgeot, Gengar, Azumarril, Magmar or Meditite blasting them away. All of this battling knocked her bag over, and thus it's why you're able to see her. However, she's either oblivious to it, or it's making her fear worse, it's hard to tell. She rocks back and forth, unable to stop hearing that laugh or seeing those eyes... she's stuck in those memories.

Care to try and comfort the miss?]

[Guess whose travel party finally decided to get their move on two days before all this bug nonsense? Crona's team is definitely not the strongest, but his Gengar, Chansey, and Clefairy can be seen in the background fending off the bugs with a mob of too many other pokémon to list. If there's one good thing about traveling in a party of 17, it's that you've got plenty of pokémon to fend off things like angry bug swarms.]

[But right now, Mama Minnie is in trouble! That takes precedence! His friends can take care of the bugs!]

[Did she even notice him? He's not sure if that "I'm scared, I'm scared..." was just a general thing or it was addressed to him. This is breaking his heart though, Mama's not the one who's supposed to be scared! Best he can do though is repeat himself, a little louder this time.]
