her_mouse_jesty | 11 (The Cactus Kid)

[So, Minnie is still in/just getting out of Ilex forest. But on the way, she's picked up a few things... Mickey, her Azumarril, is playing with the Pokegear, which, of course, turns on. Now you get to see Minnie doing some... strange things.

She seems to have gotten a hold of some vines, sticks, and leaves. She ties the vine around her hips, then ties to to a leaf, so that the leaf flops on her rear. She appears to give this some thought, then shakes her head, taking off the leaf, and replacing it with a stick. Again, stops to think... no, simply won't do. Unties the stick, then the vines... then reties the vines, around the hips, and now lets a long string of it hang behind her. Hips give a wiggle... nope, still doesn't satisfy her. She takes off the vines, and sits, with a little sigh.]

It won't do, it won't do at all... Nothing can really replace my tail. You don't know what you'll miss until it's gone.

[Then she looks up, seeing the Pokegear on. Oh well, may as well address the audience.]

Hm... For anyone else out there who weren't humans before coming here, what's the most you miss about being... whatever you were? I'm supposed to be a mouse, and this body is nice and everything... but, sometimes, oh, I so dreadfully miss my tail!

That doesn't stop people from doing it all the time. But maybe in a world of truth it would be different, eh?

At the very least, when you get your original looks back, your Pokemon will know it's you, and won't be afraid.

I don't think they would care even if they didn't know me. Some of them are pretty monstrous looking.

[nervous laugh. she wants to believe they're all cute, despite not having seen them all]

... I don't know what you mean by 'usual', but I'm slightly smaller than how I am now. I'd probably go up to... my own waist or legs.

Where I'm from, mice that aren't summons could fit in my hand. So you're pretty big, for a mouse.

[Chuckling] Small, but everywhere.

I do have friends like that, though... it would be a little fun to be their size and see what it's like in their shoes.

There are benefits to being so small.

That's right! I wouldn't have those friends change their size at all.

If they came here, they probably would, eh? This place changes us to fit it.

Oh, that's true. I'd rather everyone be safe and themselves at home.

Even with my chakra unsealed, I would feel more comfortable.

Chakra is energy. It can be used for many things--some of them similar to abilities that our Pokémon have.

Oh, like my magic!

I don't know the details about your magic, but probably similar. With my chakra sealed, I'm very limited. I can't even travel as far or as fast as I should.

Maybe when we find the way home, we'll find the way to unseal our abilities as well.

I'd prefer as soon as possible, but as long as I'm not still sealed when I return home I will be able to make due.
