[So, Minnie is still in/just getting out of Ilex forest. But on the way, she's picked up a few things... Mickey, her Azumarril, is playing with the Pokegear, which, of course, turns on. Now you get to see Minnie doing some... strange things.

She seems to have gotten a hold of some vines, sticks, and leaves. She ties the vine around her hips, then ties to to a leaf, so that the leaf flops on her rear. She appears to give this some thought, then shakes her head, taking off the leaf, and replacing it with a stick. Again, stops to think... no, simply won't do. Unties the stick, then the vines... then reties the vines, around the hips, and now lets a long string of it hang behind her. Hips give a wiggle... nope, still doesn't satisfy her. She takes off the vines, and sits, with a little sigh.]

It won't do, it won't do at all... Nothing can really replace my tail. You don't know what you'll miss until it's gone.

[Then she looks up, seeing the Pokegear on. Oh well, may as well address the audience.]

Hm... For anyone else out there who weren't humans before coming here, what's the most you miss about being... whatever you were? I'm supposed to be a mouse, and this body is nice and everything... but, sometimes, oh, I so dreadfully miss my tail!

... I wish I could say I didn't, but it is true. I have had to deal with those who have more darkness than light. I can only hope they see what they have become, and try to change.

I haven't quite kept track... But it has been many years that I have helped reign over the Disney Kingdom. Perhaps over a decade or so...

So Disney's a kingdom? [ ... wow her head. ] But whoa, you've been at it for awhile!

The time flies, really. Sometimes I still feel like I was just crowned only yesterday.

So how'd you meet Mickey, anyway?

We've known each other since I was very young... I'm not even from the Kingdom, originally. I was traveling with my Uncle, but we got separated in the Kingdom. I was scared, and alone... and then, this handsome boy stumbles right into me.

[wistful sigh... oh, the memories...]

... I had no idea he was a prince. But he took my hand, and lead me all around the kingdom, introducing me to his friends, and getting me back to my uncle. I didn't realize it at first, but... I had begun to fall in love with him on that day.

... That's so sweet! Not to mention totally romantic and-- [ SUCH A GIRL. ]

[OH AND NOW SHE'S ROMANTICALLY RAMBLING there may be no end in sight]

Even when my Uncle left, I decided to stay, because how deeply I'd come to love the kingdom. And I made so many friends, and learned so many things... and I just fell deeper and deeper in love with Mickey... But he was still hiding his royal status from me. He would tell me later it was because he didn't want me treating him any differently, so that I would love him for him, and not for what he was.

[holding herself a bit, OH THE SQUEEING]

It was a forbidden love! Royalty and a peasant! We'd sneak away onto the Steamboats to be together...

[ if it's romantically rambling, Rise isn't going to mind it a bit. Indeed, she's listening rather avidly. Possibly making little noises that mean HOW CUTE that only girls can make. ]

Love really does conquer all, huh? But you had to find out eventually.

He told me himself, aboard one of those steamboat rides... His father had recently died. Up until then, he had been a prince, and now, he would soon be King. Even though he explained his reasons, I was still upset that he had been keeping it a secret for so long. I almost didn't go to the coronation ceremony... but my friends convinced me otherwise, and I knew I still loved him.

[Siiiiiiigh... she's a young(er) girl all over again.]

I arrived at the ceremony, in my prettiest dress... And right in front of everyone, even though ours was a forbidden love... we held hands, and danced long into the night...

[ ... awwwwww, Minnie. Rise is practically sparkling over here. ]

And there was no going back after that!

Never! We've been together ever since... Oh, he's never changed... he's still as handsome and charming as when we first bumped into each other...

... And you were worried. True love's enduring through everything, isn't it?

[And now her cheeks flush...]

... I never said I was perfect either. I can worry about the silliest things.

Ahahaha, me too! I think that's why we have friends to keep us from getting too gloomy.

I don't think I'll ever be gloomy with a friend like you around!
