10 (Wild Waves)

Thank you to everyone who helped me out during that dreadful fog, and I hope everyone has recovered from it. I think it was rather wonderful how so many of us helped each other out, to defeat our fears. The power of light and friendship is very strong here, and as long as have each other in our hearts, we will keep moving forward. It really is so good to know how deeply all of us care for each other.

... If anything, really, this whole time made me realize... how much stronger I need to be.

[There's an odd little pause at that, and her face saddens. But, trying to quell her own fears, she shakes her head, happily addressing everyone again.]

But, enough of that. Instead... well, it's not like the good Professor's puzzles, but it's so lovely to think of. Think of something, or someone, you love very much. Your friends, your family, your Pokemon, this world... anything or anyone at all. Something that is beautiful to you. Now... do you love them because they're beautiful? Or are they beautiful, because you love them?

((OOC: if anyone gets that musical reference, I will give you hugs. I was this close to having her sing You'll Be In My Heart.))

That's a very good thing to hear. I was merely saying that when you care deeply for someone or something, you may see them in a different light than the way others would. It's about how special they become in your eyes... but are they special because of your love, or were they always special?

[a soft little giggle, with a tilt of her head.]

Or perhaps I'm putting too much thought into it all... All I wanted was to remind everyone of how deeply we love one another there.

Hmm. I'd say they've always been special, but the difference is in how well I knew them. Before I'd met them, they were still the same people.

And they've changed, both from experience and from how you care for them?

I... It's not as if my caring for them has affected them one way or the other. If they've grown and changed, it's been on their own strength, not because of anything I did.

[awww Savyna~]

How very modest of you. I'd like think you influenced them, even if only a little... Care can do so much for a person.

Maybe in finding that strength. But the strength itself was theirs.

Very noble of you to think so.

Did we ever introduce ourselves, when last we talked?

It's not noble. If the strength wasn't their own to begin with then their change wouldn't be permanent.

No.

I'm Savyna.

A pleasure to meet you, Savyna. My name is Minnie Mouse.

Is it common in most places to have two words for a name? Most people here seem to.

It is in my world, at least... Mouse is my husband's last name, and in my world, when you marry, your last name is changed to that of your husband's. But please, call me Minnie.

Hmm.

Looks like my world's the odd one out in a lot of ways.

I'm sure it's delightfully unique.
