Hello everyone! I do hope you're all having a good day. I just thought I'd ask for your time, and ask for your opinion.

[She shuffles around behind the curtain...]

Sometime in the fall, once Ventus returns here to Goldenrod, we'll be holding a knighting ceremony for him and Xion. Since I am royalty, I'll be knighting them, along with some real knights we have here. And I figured I should dress up nicely, so... what do you think?

[She pulls back the curtain, and steps out...

~~Though her hair is still white from the last event, sob. and ignore the extra hand.~~ She smiles, grabbing her dress and swishing it around.]

I'm still not sure... but isn't it fun, getting all dressed up? If I can't wear it to the knighting ceremony, it might make for a good Halloween costume... though it seems a bit silly for a queen to have a princess costume, heeheehee!

Mmhmm. Back home, only royalty could officially do the knighting, so we decided to implement some of that here.

I see. Though what all does such a ceremony entail? I don't think we have such a ceremony in Roland; at least not that's been performed in recent memory...

Back home, we would have the entire kingdom watching at the castle, with the knights kneeling before me. I would hold the traditional sword as I touched their shoulders, declaring them to be true and noble knights.

It sounds almost rather simple, for a royal ceremony.

To be honest, it's more so that the kingdom can know who their knights are, and who will be protecting them. The real important ones are the knights and what they will do after.

I suppose that makes sense. I wonder if it would be worthwhile to institute such a thing back home...
