Her father was trying to rally up the villagers to rescue Belle, but his story was so insane, no one would believe him. trouble was brewing back in the village. Gaston was still angry that Belle had rejected him, so he devised a wicked plan, in that he would send the father to an insane asylum, in order to draw Belle out.
