55 (Mickey's Surprise Party)

Hello, everyone! I hope you're all having a magical day! My little home is in tip-top shape again, and it sounds like things are peaceful once more in the land of Johto and Kanto.

Now, the real reason why I'm calling is that thanks to my dear friends Ventus and Xion, I've realized even though I've almost been here for two years, I still haven't told people the real, detailed story of how my darling Mickey and I met! I thought it'd be a nice little story to share.

In my home world, the Disney Kingdom, I was the princess. I was expected to marry another member of royalty, or at least someone with a high status. I also had many knights to protect me and the kingdom... although back then, we called them musketeers. One day, I was nearly killed by a falling safe! I was so frightened that I demanded the Captain of the Musketeers, Pete, to specially assign me bodyguards until I could feel safe again.

So he brought me three musketeers to meet and approve of. First was Donald Duck, who would later became the royal mage. Then it was Goofy, who would later take Pete's place as Captain. Then... the shortest one between them, the most handsome man I'd ever seen in my life, he stepped forward... Our eyes locked, and... and...

[She dreamily sighs, leaning back so far it's really only a miracle she's still standing... And, uh... she appears to have drifted off. You may need to snap her back to reality. For those interested in Action, Minnie was supposed to be sweeping front porch of her home, but got so caught up in reminiscing that she's dancing with her broom, pretending it's her king. Walt the Charizard is napping on the sand nearby.]

That's tragic! [ Rangiku looks down with a bit of a lull in her eyes. Where do these people get off destroying love?! ]

What happened?! You guys stayed strong and continued to see each other in, like, secret or something?

I wouldn't say secret, heeheehee...

[given that she was the one pulling him all around France, making out with him on her doorstep, etc.]

Besides, Daisy didn't argue for too long. She wound up dating Donald, another 'poor commoner orphan'.

So you guys both found love with commoners?! Ah! That's so cute! Do you guys ever double date!? [ Everything is wonderful and nothing hurts. ]

Mm-hmm, plenty! Although they still haven't married yet. I think they're taking their time with it, but they're very happy like this. I could not ask for anyone better for each other. If I had to guess, I'd say she fell for him when he rescued us. It's rather dashing to be saved by heroic men in uniform, isn't it?

He saved you guys?! [ Rangiku is now sitting down on the carpet. She loves these types of stories! ] I think they're taking it slow too, she seems like the person to gradually change and warm up, you know? [ She's so enthralled by this. ] I want to hear the story about getting saved though!

Well then, let me get back to the story. Now, where was I...

Oh, right! Daisy came back in while the introductions were being told. The boys thought she was going to attack me with a butter knife, but I managed to stop them before they seriously attacked her. I knew I had to calm Daisy down quickly, so I suggested we all go out to the kingdom in a carriage ride.

As Daisy and I were talking in the carriage, a horrible trio of goons attacked the carriage! The boys were knocked away, and Daisy and I were kidnapped, tied up, held up in a cage in a high tower!

[conduit]

[ Rangiku's initial reaction is to nearly spit take at the feed before she asks just about every question ever. ] Who'd do something so heartless?! Why would they do it?! Why did the boys think Daisy would be attacking you?! How did the boys get free?! [ she's on the edge of her carpet right now. she can't take the suspense ): ]

[phew! She waits a moment for Rangiku to catch her breath.]

At the time, I didn't know it, but Pete, the Captain of the Musketeers, was the one who hired those awful goons. He wanted me out of the way so he could take over the throne. It was also why he chose Mickey, Donald, and Goofy to be my bodyguards... he didn't think they'd be competent enough to protect me.

But he definitely underestimated them! The heroic trio found the tower, kicked out the goons, and saved me and Daisy!

The Musketeers? That sounds like a name far too gallant to even give these scumbags. [ She's angry that they'd resort to such low methods. ] The type of selfish people that desire power, they always make the worst rulers. [ It briefly gives her memories about the hell she endured because of Aizen. Her voice goes quiet, but only for a brief flicker. ]

I'm glad you're okay, and that you got rescued.

[her_mouse_jesty]

[Time to cheer her new friend up with more romance!]

It wasn't the last time that Pete and his minions tried... but when I saw Mickey's face, I couldn't even think of what had happened to me. He tried to untie me, but was just so bashful and adorable, fumbling all over the place... he was so adorable, he made me laugh! And that's when I kew he was the one.

Aw! I can definitely tell it's true love! If some guy was fumbling to untie me, I wouldn't be laughing, or very happy! [ THE MEASUREMENTS OF TRUE LOVE.... ] Has it been hard since you've arrived here, without him?

It hasn't been easy... but I know we'll be together again. It's not the first time we've been forcibly separated.

That's a good attitude to have. Separation can bring out the truest feelings there are, and it sometimes really does make a relationship grow. [ or, at least one half of it in her experience :|a ]
